An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

I saw on Google that they claim it's closed. Not true!! They are putting in a drive thru. The food is good and the service is good as well. I will say a though I have enjoyed several dishes I wish I breakfast burritos had more of everything besides potato and mixing the eggs before placing on the grill would allow that beautiful yellow color and not that random mix of non mixed eggs. I have enjoyed the chimichanga and the enchiladas as well as the breakfast menu and my family had enjoyed much more. Fix the eggs and potato ration and u would be almost perfect!!

I love the family that runs this, they're happy and give good service. We work nearby, so we're there a few times a month. I stick with the texano burrito, which is good, and affordable. I haven't ventured very far in the menu, but the texano is a winner!

Meh. Not bad, but not great. "Traditional Mexican Food" in the sense that there is nothing exceptional about it. The only thing keeping the food from being too bland was the high amount of salt I could taste in the otherwise flavorless shredded beef. Salsa selection was weak, too. Usually you can make up for average Mexican food with some great salsa, but not here.

We lived in Tucson for 10 years ago are accustomed to good Mexican food. This was just bad. Had the Carne Asada and it wasn't edible. My husband had the shredded beef burrito and it tasted weird. The salsa is liquid and tasted very lemony. The "guac" was liquid avocado sauce. I will say that the tortillas were excellent as were their chips. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

Humberto's has friendly service and is a great place for lunch. They use ionized filtered water to clean their produce. Just ask them about what it does, they will tell you. The food is good standard Mexican food. My favorite is the rolled taco plate. I have been here several times for lunch and will keep going back.

Yep -- ok in a pinch. I have ordered different types of burritos here (chile verde, chicken, meat) - it's all uninspired Mexican food that fills the void. It's not bad, but it's nothing you want to write home to your mama. Zero ambiance, except looking at a bunch of men eating plates of Mexican food. I've been here about 5 times and I think I've reached my limit. $5 for a standard burrito that will fill you up but will leave you underwhelmed. Typical SLC Mexican food dining experience.

This is a great place in the NSLC area. I have had a few different variations of their burritos and everyone of them was great!! The place I work is right around the corner and when I call in the food is always ready when I get there (5-7 minute drive)

Homestyle sit down fast food Mexican a la Rancharitos, Albertos, Betos and my four stars is in comparison to those restaurants. They are new and have a large well lit dining area. They have a fresh salsa bar like most other similar eateries however unlike others they also have fresh grilled chili's and onions. The prices are very resonable and the burritos are enormous. Glad to have them near my work place
